This stuff isn't usually my style, but I just bought (yes, I can say bought: it's like you name your price, and the price I named was $0.00) Feed the Animals and it's pretty entertaining... This mashup kind of stuff is cool, especially when you get where he stole the parts of the song from. And it makes me want to dance!!!

I haven't listened to them in a long time. I remember Girl Talk being a big fuss back when Night Ripper came out. This plunderphonics/mash-up thing actually IS my sort of thing... but when I listened to Night Ripper I wasn't particularly impressed, it wasn't bad by any stretch... but I didn't see the big deal. If you were to call it a hip-hop album, the sampling is poor in comparison to stuff like Paul's Boutique... but more properly, it falls flat in comparison to plunderphonics artists like The Avalanches and (the gods of culture-jamming) Negativland.
